The Easter holiday began with dying Easter eggs. Sophia was able to dye her own eggs this year. Though I enjoyed watching her, I couldn't help but to be a little weepy at the idea that she is old enough to do this activity on her own.
The Easter Bunny left some great thing in her Easter basket. She was more excited that the Easter Bunny filled a basket for her little brother.
Joey's Easter Basket was Mike's Easter basket when he was a little boy.
After finding the Easter eggs in the yard and looking through the baskets we were ready to head over to Nana Deb's house for a family Easter celebration.
Sophia and Ben were dressed in Easter outfits that Nana Deb made them.
At Nana's house Sophia and Ben searched for more Easter eggs and baskets.
After dinner we took part in the annual Easter egg competition. Each player had one egg and had to hit it against other players eggs. The egg that has one end that was not cracked at the end of the competition was the winner.
