Sophia’s summer horseback riding classes were a success. So Daddy and I enrolled her into the Early Fall classes. Since I was going back to work Daddy is the one that would be taking her to the classes. Thanks to having the Friday off before Labor Day I was able to go to her first lesson with Daddy and take some pictures.
Before riding her horse, Emma, Sophia had to get her from the paddock and get her ready.
Once saddled, Sophia went to the outdoor arena and practiced her trotting, steering and balancing.
The final part of her lesson Sophia got to go on a trail ride in the woods where she saw the other horses at the farm.
While Daddy and Sophia were on their walk, I hung back and took pictures of the donkeys that live on the farm. They are very playful and I was hoping to catch them in that mood but they were to busy eating.
