I can't believe my nephew Benjamin is a walking, almost talking, fun-loving 1 year old! He is AWESOME! It has been amazing to watch him become the little man that he is today. My sister Adrienne and Keir have done such a wonderful job with him!
When Adrienne asked me to make him his birthday cake I was so honored and excited. The theme of his party was Curious George so I spent the actual day of his birthday making him a Curious George cake since he loves that little monkey!
His favors were banana with a recipe for "Curious Monkey" muffins!
The party was held the Saturday after his birthday at Gymboree. The kids had a blast!
Of course Sophia had to help her cousin out with the cake!
Ben could have cared less about the cake. He just wanted to carry Curious George around with him.
Watching Sophia and looking at these pictures drove home the fact that my baby is no longer a baby. She is a little girl and before long I will be looking at pictures with my sister and Benjamin will no longer be that active toddler but be a beautiful little boy!
