When we first entered the park she loved going from house to house and pushing the buttons to listen to all the nursery rhymes. If there was a free standing object she would ask me to recite the nursery rhyme for her as she played in it.
"Mary, Mary Quite Contrary House"
"Mary Had A Little Lamb"
Sophia had a chance to ring the bell in Mary's schoolhouse.
Sing A Song Of Sixpence...."
Sophia was a blackbird baked in a pie!
Upon entering the Enchanted Forest Sophia wrote her name on a leaf and tacked it up on a talking tree to let people know that she was there.
Sophia spent a lot of time looking at the leprechaun that lives in the big tree. Sometime you would look in and he would be there talking to you and other times it was his empty house.
"Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater"
After we made our way through the Enchanted Forest we met up with Ben, Keir, and Adrienne for a few rides. Sophia loved that the stroller was small enough for her to push Ben around the park.
Ben's first time on the teacups. Sophia 3rd time in an hour!
Ben is a thrill seeker like his big cousin!
When the ride first started we would say, "Woooo" as it spun to let him know it was OK. He would just laugh. When the rise was over he kept saying, "Woooo" as we walked through the park.
Though Ben was exhausted from the day's events by 12:30pm....Sophia went strong for another 3 1/2 hours.
Before the Anzelmo family headed back to the camp Sophia wanted to take them on the antique cars ride. It only seats 4 so I hung back to take pictures and get a more acquainted with the park through my map. As I was looking at it a butterfly landed on it and kept me company.
Later in the day Sophia and I made our way up to Cinderella's castle. I decided instead of waiting for the pumpkin stage coach that we would walk it. For anyone visiting Storyland on a day that is 102 degrees, like we did.....Don't walk!
Sophia loved sitting with Cinderella for a picture. On our way out she looked at me and said, "Mom, she is a beautiful princess."

After riding all, but 2 rides, in the park we went to this area where balls were being dropped from the ceiling, shot from tubes, sucked into tubes and just all over the place. Sophia had a blast! She loved waiting for the balls to drop from the ceiling. I liked that it was out of the sun and it kept her busy for a little bit so I could rest my feet.
Sophia and I had a great time! We spent over 6 hours there and enjoyed every minute of it!
