Happy 4th of July

July 4th, 2010 we stuck to tradition and went to see the USS Constitution Sail. We watched it from Pier's Park in East Boston. Sophia enjoyed it like she always does watching the planes and boats and getting the attention of all the little old ladies.

She was dressed in only the best handmade shorts by Nana Deb and bows made by Mommy. The Elmo backpack has been a staple of Sophia's wardrobe since she got it from Auntie Tera for her birthday.

This year Sophia had a special treat... Nana and Papa Ferrara joined us at Pier's Park for some 4th of July fun! Of course I saw this as a photo opportunity.
After we watched the ship sail we went over to the playground and we all got to take turns pushing her in the swings. Nana and Papa left after that and we stayed a little longer and had lunch in the park.
Later that night we went to our usual spot at Jordan's Furniture and watched the fireworks with the Morabitos and Daddy's friends. Of course no 4th of July would be complete without sparklers!
